My husband, Brian, works with Shannon. He is a consultant at Theda but soon will be moving on. He has passed on the link to Hailey's story to me. I have been reading her story for a couple of weeks now. I am so moved by the strength you both show. I just can't imagine how difficult it must be for your family but it looks as though you have a good support system around you. Keep forging on. Hailey seems to be very strong and tough. Both your girls are so adorable. Michele Foote

Hey Guysmore support pumping your way from all of us (Edwards and folks at the office...). Brian, your words are inspirational. All of us, every day, can remain mindful of how very fortunate we are. I am looking forward to the day that Hailey doesn't have to take any of that yucky medicine anymore. In the meantime, I am hopeful that she tingles with toddler excitement about some fun and cool thing that she and you all get to enjoy.lovingly,John

Brian and Shannon,I had so much fun with Hailey on Sunday. She's such a natural while I took her pictures in my garden. She sure had fun playing in the water with the stones, the pictures show how delightful she is. I'm so glad to be a part of your family as you forge ahead. You give me inspiration in your journal entries as well. Hope Faith's feeling better as well.Love to allKris

Dear Hailey,Faith, Brian & Shannon, We are truly amazed and inspired by Your Strength, Determination and Love--and the Journal entries not only convey Hailey's fight but are filled with such emotion and passion and make all of us feel we have a part in this fighting the Monster! It helps all of us to know "the details"--on all levels. Not sure if I am making much sense but keep on keeping on--and know that You better start taking a bus down to Madison--because we are quite a large group who ARE GOING ALONG FOR THE RIDE! As you head back to Madison we hope it helps you to visualize how many of us are right there in :"the bus" --traveling along with You tomorrow and all the days ahead. Tony loved his visit with you guys last week!TAKE CARE AND HOPE ALL GOES WELL TOMORROW. DRIVE CAREFUL NOW AS WE ARE ALL RIDING ALONG WITH YOU!LOVE & HUGS, Jeri & Tony

Sometimes I just get mad. And that's OK too. Life ain't easy. Also, not easy being green. But knowing this does not make life easier.
